She served honorably before continuing her service in the Army National Guard while earning her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.

After graduating, Bonita gained extensive experience across multiple industries, including startups, commercial real estate, retail, oil and gas, and government. These diverse roles shaped her practical, detail-driven approach to accounting and strengthened her understanding of the financial challenges individuals and businesses face.
